Welcome to my page of Fallout Lore, these are the stories and events of my own cannon from the game, either through how things played out or how I planned/developed storylines as I went through my first playthrough. This is a minutemen orientated world and I love settlements. I've finished the main quest with the minutemen ending so there will be spoilers for that below.
This is one of my main bases, I've made my own base my old house, with a bedroom with lots of organised storage, and a locker in the laundry room for armour. I put a door onto Shaun's room using the rug glitch and left it mostly as is, as I played the game I collected toys from around the commonwealth and left them in his room, HOWEVER after finishing the main quest, I boarded up the windows and gave the toys the child syth Shaun. He now lives two doors down with Curie where they can do Science, there's chemistry station in there too.
I've made the yellow house the 'Town Hall' there's tables and chairs in the living room for town meetings and the bedroom is Preston's (he's the Leader) and he has a desk in there also.
Next to the Town Hall towards the entrance is a space for caravans with a little shack to shelter in, a campfire and cooking stattion and a basketball hoop out back
On the other side is a bar, Sturges is the bartender, he can fix anything including fixing you a drink. I also have a hospital in one of the houses but it needs more work.
My current project is turning one of the houses into a Museum, the Vault-Tec rep (in a snazzy Armored Clean Black Suit) runs the trade shop in the main room, all the magazines are on display. There's an Institute room with models of the Institute and Courser clothes, and displays of weapons and items. There's also a Vault room with a vaultsuit, undamaged items, a chair and crate. I'm also going to make a Silver Shroud display.
The people who live here worship the Screen and the pre-war times. They all sleep in steel shacks that face the Screen, the bar faces the Screen. Everyone wears pre-war clothes and the guards wear baseball uniforms and carry bats along with their guns. Agnes (name?) lives here and runs a clothing store and Nick Valentine has an office here. He's based here but in my head he moves back and forth between here and Diamond City. The people here like him because he has an old-timey vibe.
The Castle is the base of the Minutmen and rivals Diamond City and Bunker Hill for trade. People sleep in barracks and there are small shops in the side rooms. There is a general's base built between the armoury and the entrance. In the centre area is a farm, and a bar "The Keep", along with a dog named Bailey who keeps the Minuteman on the radio company. The first Bailey died in the assault on the Castle by the Institute and there is a grave near the back entrance to the sea.
I loved this quest it was so much fun, though saving Kent was almost impossible I had to get help from someone who is far better than me at playing and even then it took some goes and VATS plus Jet. Kent now lives back in Goodneighbor and when I visit I bring him food and drink. Just to make sure he's ok. There will be a display of the Shroud at the Sanctuary Museum.
